고아인 동일은 이산가족 영상편지 촬영 일을 하던 중 엄마의 소식을 듣게 된다. 상봉을 포기한 치매노인 영섭은 촬영하러 온 동일을 쫓아내지만 영섭에게 알 수 없는 동질감을 느낀 동일은 그의 편지를 완성하려 한다. 

Dong-il, who grew up as an orphan, hears about his mother while he is shooting video letters for dispersed families. An old man with dementia, Young-seop, who gave up the chance of his own family reunion drives Doing-il out when he visits him for the shoot. However, Dong-il feels empathy for him and tries to complete Young-seop's video letter for his lost family.
