The 3rd SISFF International Competition consists of 5 sections with 30 films from 27 countries. The diverse perspectives of people living different sociocultural spaces in the same era always awaken new senses. Your stagnant senses will awaken as you’ll encounter: senses and acceptance in the flow of life; different lives forming one discourse; a more wholesome endingless than ending; time and space of the past that are projected in present; and courage and process of reducing the weight for the sake of motion. The format and content of the 30 films of the SISFF International Competition will draw the new tomorrow closer.

May 5th, 1923. The Dutch East Indies government celebrated the opening of a new radio station in West Java. It was called Radio Malabar. In March 2020, the Indonesian local government plans to reactivate the station as a historical site and tourist attraction. Tellurian Drama imagines what would have happened in between: the vital role of the mountain in the country’s history; colonial ruins as an apparatus for geoengineering technology; and the invisible power of indigenous ancestral roots.
