Vladimir Shapovalov studied at the Faculty of Mechanics at Novosibirsk University. But one day, a random stranger brought him into the world of ceramics. That's how Vladimir began to visit a nearby ceramic laboratory, learning the art of pottery. After moving to Kharkov, Vladimir remembered the "pottery" at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts and decided to try his luck there.
