Changes in short competition entry trends and selection of entries for the finals

This year again, works that showed a variety of views on the elderly and their lives knocked on the door of the SISFF.

In the case of the international short competition, it can be seen that Asian and European countries still have different views on the elderly and old age. While the main subject of Asian works was the sad and negative view of old age and the humility of old age before death, Europe mostly approached death humorously and tended to think more positively about things after death. Although the subject matter of the elderly from cultural differences still came to a different conclusion, in the end, the context of understanding the elderly generation and contemplating generational integration is still seen as the most important value in all works regardless of country.

We look forward to working together with great works in the future

Thanks for the submissions from all the movie industry professionals.
