시와 산책
<시놉시스>
|
국문 : 어르신들의 이야기를 ‘시’를 매개로 듣는다. 함께 시를 적고, 시에 담겨진 어르신들의 일상적인 생활 공간과 산책로를 따라 떠난다. 이 과정에서 마주한 우리 주변의 풍경들을 이질적으로 배열하고, 변종의 이미지를 구축한다. 모든 이들이 일터로 떠난 후, 생업에 종사 하시지 않는 낮 시간의 풍경과 하루 중 어르신들의 마음 속으로 찾아오는 풍경들이 채집된다. 어르신들의 각기 분리되어 있는 일상 공간과 마음 속 단락들을, 영상을 통해 엮는다. 영상이 한 바퀴 돌아갈 때마다 어르신들과 한바탕 꿈을 꾼 심경이다. 함께했던 공간의 공기를 머금고 이른 아침으로 회귀 하면서, 일상을 맞이한다.
영문 : I listen to the story of the elderly by their poems. We have composed the poems together and strolled around everyday places mentioned in their writings. In this process, the landscapes we have encountered are arranged in a contrasting way, thereby constituting varietal images. The scenes of elderly people idling a daytime away after everyone goes to work and of their impressive moments are archived. I have subsequently interwoven the quotidian spaces and thoughts of different people into the video work. Whilst watching it, I feel as if I had a dream with them. I breathe in the air that we have shared and greet another ordinary morning.
<감독 신현지>
시와 비디오를 통해서 일상의 삶에서 조금 비켜 나간 장면들, 사회가 주요 플롯을 구성할 때 누락된 개인의 삶의 풍경, 공상, 미시적인 사건들을 채집한다.
Through poetry and video, I collect moments of small breaks from daily routine and also life stories, daydreams or trivial events of individuals that are left out of the story of society.
