<시놉시스 Synopsis >

에르네스토, 78세의 브라질에 사는 우루과이출신 사진작가는 나이의 한계에 부딪히게된다. 그는 위장할수 있다고 믿었던 외로움과 커져가는 맹목성에 대해 한계를 느끼게 된것이다. 에르네스토가 홀아비가 되었을때, 그는 늙어가는것이 정적이된 공간을 돌아가는 레코드판으로 채우는것, 멀리사는 아들의 전화를 받는것, 은행에서 그의 수당을 포기하라는 공지, 이웃주민 하비에르의 짧은 인사, 루시아에게 올 새로운 편지를 기다리는것 이라고 생각했었다. 하지만, 비아라는 경솔한 강아지 간병인이 그의 인생에 들어오게되고 그의 하루는 달라진다. 그리고 에르네스토는 서른도 안된 여자와 시간을 보내는것이 노화를 젊어지게 하는 방법일수도 있다고 생각하게되고 또 팔십을 바라보는 나이에도 사랑이 가능하다는것을 깨닫게된다.

Ernesto, a seventy-eight-year-old Uruguayan photographer living in Brazil, faces the

limitations of old age, such as loneliness and growing blindness, which he thinks he can disguise.

When Ernesto became a widower, he learned that aging is about filling the

silences with a spinning record, with the calls from his son who lives far away, with the bank

errands to withdraw his pension, with his neighbor Javier’s flying visits, with the wait for a

new letter from Lucía. However, Bia, a careless dog carer, storms into his life and upsets his

methodical daily life. And Ernesto realizes that aging can be about rejuvenating with the

intense company of a girl who is not even thirty years old. And that life and love are

possible even for those who are almost eighty.

브라질, 포르토 알레그레 출신 감독 아나 루이자 아제베도는 1959년 브라질에있는 UFRGS 대학교에서 순수미술을 전공하였고, 그곳에서 카사 데 시네마 회원들을 찾게되었다. 아나 루이자는 감독 겸 작가이며 그녀는 1984년도부터 영화와 텔레비전 프로그램 산업에서 몸을 담궜다. 그녀의 유명한 작품으로는: BARBOSA (하바나 페스티벌 베스트 단편상, 1989), VENTRE LIVRE (DERHUMALC 베스트 다큐상 1995), TRÊS MINUTOS (브라질라 페스티벌 베스트 단편상, 1999), DOCE DE MÃE "Sweet mother" (베스트 코미디– 국제 에미어워드, 2015), QUEM É PRIMAVERA DAS NEVES (“Who Is Primavera das Neves”) 상파울로 다큐 필름페스티벌 공식셀렉션, 2016 AOS OLHOS DE ERNESTO ("Through Ernesto's Eyes"), 2019, 상파울로 국제 영화제 심사위원상, Punta del Este국제영화제 관객상, 2019)이있다.

Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1959. Graduated in Fine Arts at UFRGS University/Brasil.

is a director and screenwriter and has been working in films and television since 1984.
