故박성연 선생님은 한국 최초의 본격적인 재즈가수 1호로, 한국인이 만든 최초의 재즈클럽인 클럽 야 누스를 40여 년간 운영하였다. 현재 클럽 야누스는 디바 야누스로 이름을 바꾸어 2세대 재즈가수인 말로 씨가 이어받아 운영하고 있다. 다큐멘터리 <디바 야누스>는 박성연이라는 한 개인이 어떻게 한국 재즈의 발판이 되고 뿌리내리게 되었는가를 그녀의 인터뷰와 노래 그리고 다른 재즈 뮤지션들 의 인터뷰를 통해 들려준다

The late Park Sung-yeon, the Korea's first full-fledged jazz singer ran Club Janus which is the first jazz club created by Koreans

, for more than 40 years. Currently Club Janus has changed its name to and is being operated by Malo, a second-generation jazz singer. The documentary Diva Janus tells a story that how an individual, Park Sung-yeon became a stepping stone and took root in Korean jazz through her interviews, the songs she sang, and other jazz mutsicians' interviews.
